Renovation of piston rods, shafts and cylinders
We offer metal, ceramic and metal-ceramic coatings for piston rods, shafts and cylinders (for example, paper rolls).
Tungsten Carbide Coating
Coatings applied by Plasma or HVOF technology with subsequent milling. The thickness of the layer can be customized to the surface operating requirements. Tungsten Carbide belongs to the group of materials with high hardness, suitable especially for abrasion resistant applications. We achieve the following parameters:
- coating thickness 0.2 - 0.9 mm (common applications)
- surface roughness up to Ra <0.1
Ceramic Coating
Suitable for hydraulic piston rods and sealing surfaces. We differentiate the ceramic materials to corundum and oxide. Both types of ceramics can be used for sliding and sealing surfaces - oxidic ceramics offer higher surface hardness. We achieve the following parameters:
- coating thickness 0.2 - 0.9 mm (common applications)
- corundum ceramic hardness more than 60 - 65 HRC
- oxidic ceramic hardness more than 70 HRC
- surface roughness up to Ra <0.1
Chromium Coating
We offer as alternative to galvanic technology, plus higher coating thickness. We use certified high quality materials with high chromium share. We achieve the following parameters:
- coating thickness 0.3 - 1 mm
- hardness of more than 500 Vickers
- surface roughness up to Ra < 0.1
